It was an horrible accident...but it was just that, an accident. I am upset that blogs like "jalopnik" have always prided themselves in having the latest Gumball News... but when a tragedy occurs are so quick to turn on the same organization that they stuffed there galleries and webspace with. 
I am not trying to dismiss the obvious blunders made by GB3000 and Nick Morley...but if we were all in the same situation,in a foreign country thousands of miles away from family,friends, not to mention legal counsel...in that state of mind...Im sure escape on a jet would sound like a reasonable option...My prayers are with everyone involved.

Guys... when Torque crashed.  He was hurt.  I know of a friend who has not been the same since he crashed in the 2005 Gumball.  There have been injuries.  But no SPECTATOR injuries.
