The SSC is an actual production car and not a tuned version of a production car. They own the Production Car record. The SSC still has some speed left in it and if they can get a proper test track, they can do some more runs if any other company goes after their record. So says Junus.

No navy ad! The porsche looks pretty sick, and the rear end with its open face looks interesting. I'm sure it has a function. The wooden car? interesting, i guess its easier to work with than metal if you can't weld and such.
