Ever since i was 5 i dreamed of driving a viper RT10 with 600hp and twin turbo charger. I mean some people don't like viper? SO What? Someone else will Viper is an american sports or race car and has racing blood. If You don't like vipers because of gas milage They will make a hybrid in the future (Hydrogen) If you still don't like it because of gas sorry BUT... YOU ARE A HIPPIE. OH AND A VIPER RT10 CAN BEAT A LAMBO MURCIELAGO.

Just so that you know Steveo987, the Viper's rear end is heavier than the front, and it's the fastest car Car and Driver has ever run around VIR, which is considerably longer and twistier than a quarter mile drag strip. Also, the engine is well respected on road courses by many because of it's wide power band.

Ax the Viper! Its ugly as sin and the suspension is harder than Chinese algebra! Not to mention the door threshold sills will burn the hell outta you if your not carefull. For the same amount of money, do yourself a favor and buy a 2002 M5 or a Certified Pre-Owned CLS 55 AMG.

the only track the viper is ANY good at is the damn 1/4 mile... EVER DRIVIN ONE? i have, and it one of the worst cars i have driven... the nose is way to heavy, the back end comes out at the lightest corner exit acceleration, the motor has soooo much capability, but you need a tuner to fix that for you... Suspension- awful. Not to mention you are more then likely to get burned by the exhaust a few times. like i said before, it needs to be scrapped for a re-everything... a Twin turbo v-8 (so the front end isn't so damn heavy, and prob will get more HP/TQ) get a nice suspension chassis design and modern looks, I still think the SRT-10 looks like the first gen viper anyway. Dodge should even look into an AWD setup so they can out handle the Vette and steal a good bit of GM's thunder. And Da11ap3 when was the last time you hurd of a viper keeping up with anything on the ring? all a viper is good for is going straight, until you over power it and you crash.

as a pieace of engineering the viper isnt all that great but as a pieace of art the viper has everything from its georges sex appeal to its amazing power, personally i think it should stay, if can put a smile on top gears jeremy clarkson its a sure winner

Killing the Viper is a horrible idea. Even if it doesn't sell as much as Cerberus would like, it probably attracts a fair amount of attention to Dodge. It was the only reason to look at Chrysler from 1992-2005 in my opinion. At least now they have the Challenger and Charger, but the Viper is the symbol of Dodge, and American supercars. It's pure track performance without uneccessary things like comfort modes and launch control you find in other supercars. Currently, between the SRT-10 and ACR, it can match any Corvette, Lambo, Ferrari, or Porsche on a track. If the Viper goes, it will be felt throughout the automotive world.

I think it's time to take the Viper out into the back field with your trusty .22 pistol and put her to sleep. She was a great car in her day but now reminds me of my nabours dog that has patchy fur, cataracts, and carries it's back legs around in a wheeled cart. Let her go Dodge, it's selfish not too.

When you accelerate it gets worse millage than a F1, the engine sucks, and the interior looks like it was designed by a fricken 4 year old.
I mean I am 11 and I can design a better interior. 
Also, the perportions are wrong, it does'nt sound good, the styling is horrible, and what kind of a name is a Viper. Chrysler can only build pushrod engines( just a few DOHC), which really sucks. The engine is bigger than a Veyron's with 6 less cylinders, and it does'nt even get 600 whp. I've seen a STi with 900 whp. Deleting the Viper gets my vote.

I dont want to see what will happen to me if they cut the viper I still didnt get a chance to buy one or even drive one :(

The bimmer is pretty cool as well.  No girls today :( but I can't complain! Got those trampoline girls and a good dose of Andrea as well!

P.S. Ditch the Viper, Its an ugly car with only 500hp(i think?). A british or japanese engineer would make a whole lot more power if they had 10 cylinders and 8.3L to work with..... They sound nice tho.

All i have to say is, Cerberus has no idea what the fuck there doing!!!! Plus the viper is truly the first American super car that could keep up with the stuff from Europe!!

Viper, gone , that would suck they just need to reinvent it if you ask me the styling is just to outdated and design a better engine how you gonna let a V8 destroy your V10 if GM went forced induction why not dodge instead of an S/C they should go turbo.........that will show them

Dodge needs to replace it. period... great car... but its sooo out of date compaired to the new covette, Gallardo, and other vehicals of this class. my idea, build a non hemi v8 twin turbo with a proper suspension setup, with (like it or not) an E-gear. 

GM had/has their shot at the cheap cars with those little aveos and those kia rios.  People will buy them.  If those 00 cars make us and euro emissions, they will sell buttloads of them if they last more than a year.  People bought a lot of Yugos, even knowing they were junk.

The Viper was a dinosaur before it came out.  Has lots of power, but stability was piss poor.  I drove one and I learned to appreciate the Z06.  And come on...its a product of Chrysler.

I saw a spot on CNN about an extreme hybrid that gets incredible mileage.  The American big 3 sould get with Ricardo and Trinity and start producing these things.

Viper was always a 20th century Dinosaur in a world of 21st Century supercars ! Forget the plastic surgery on the 6 series that GT-R GT500 looks insane and very very serious, let's hope they get that in the FIA GT3 series!

I would hate to see the viper go.  Growing up i have always loved that car and still would love to own an 02 ACR. that M6 looks sick too.  Glad they went with that over the M3.
