Mercator and CARBON FIBER, the point I was making as far as the Porsche goes is that it has a smaller displacement.  BUT, not all Porsches have a turbo.  The Carreras are really not that much slower than the turbo model, a smidge over a second.  Means alot when you're racing, but not you're just cruising beit to work or a night out.  Sorry if my point was not understood.

Mercator, Vette reliability? The LSx is one of the MOST reliable engines you will find anywhere. Thats the beauty of it. It's designed to be a daily driver.

Swinglow - umm, you're simply mistaken: without it being adding a supercharger or turbo(s).

Actually some Porsches even have 2 of them. Some Ferrari's even have 2 of them. So you might want to do some more research before commenting.

Swinglow, a porsche turbo HAS a turbo.  They don't just write turbo on there.  If you mean they can perform well with the smaller displacement engines, you are correct, but don't forget Mercedes is kinda big on big engines too.  AMG puts monsters in its stuff to keep up.

A normal 911 is a decent, low 5 sec car without a blower, but nothing exciting.  911 Turbo is awesome, with the blower.

Yeah the porsche skit was funny, especially the looks on the dudes watching you do it.  Careful, zey know vehr you schleep, Herr Deangeeelus!

I am finding myself intrigued by the GXP.  That is stealthy, and with a blower would shock the crap out of some neon srt-4 owner when you annihilated him.  Would do the same to my former STi, and that makes me sad, but Subaru lost me with the Mazda looking POS they made the STi into this model year anyway.  That GXP would make a run at the STi, Evo, Lexus IS, and even M3, kinda.  I love sedans with whoopass.  I'd worry about the reliability of the Vette plant in it, or if it is detuned, or skittish with the inevitable blower in it -_-

I'm not in the car business, but I'd guess the TSX would be priced no more than 5K more that the current model.

Just call the G8 Sport Truck an El Camino for crying out loud!  Drop the Pontiac name and rebadge it as a Chevy.

Americans love waste, hense...the huge displacement engines.  But they still can't compete with the Porsches, Ferraris and Lamborghinis without it being adding a supercharger or turbo(s).

Could it be that Mike Accavitti was mis-informed when he said the Viper wasn't going anywhere.  Correct me if I'm wrong, but I though Dodge was losing money on the Viper and that's why they want to discontinue the Viper lineup.
