He even admitted that he didnt feel like he was funny.
And, how can one even try and come across as the funny guy...when theyre sitting next to JAY LENO? He maturely and humbly decided not to force any jokes. He did a fine job...and, Im guessing that he (and Spinelli) are probably NNN's top 2 resident car guys....so who else could NNN send to chat cars with Leno? Carrie? Dont think so. Shes a great host and all, but they needed to send their most knowledgable car guy, whose most comfrtable infront of the camera...to talk to Leno. No offense to FLD's other great hosts, but Carrie or DD would not have been able to really speak about cars on the same level as Jay. And im sure Jay would prefer to speak cars to someone who would actually understand and enjoy what hes talking about. Not just someone whos there to ask questions off of a card, and not really listen to, understand, or appreciate his answers.

I don't know about the 924 but the 928 is long overdue for a return. The BMW M1 is pretty sweet. I hope that it is the BMW answer to the supercar it is about time for them to step it up we know that they have the technical expertise, look at there work as constructors in Formula 1

We all know that Jay Leno is a funny guy, but he's talking about a passion.  Matt should never try to be the comic  while talking to him. the stupid comments and the aquard laugh are enough to say the he's shouldn't have been the one to talk with Mr. Leno. let  alone the stupid comments in between great stories and insightful knowledge about cars that we all wish that we could know intimately.  really, if you think that light car are unsafe buy your self an F-ing hummer...  and what does a Monte Carlo have to do to be raced? it has brakes and a motor, thats all it need. we don't all have...  who cares what you have, be passionate about it. and don't make snide comments about something different.  other then that Taurus comment weeks ago, man that shits funny, but in good taste...  next time please send Carrie Milbank, at least she seems like she really likes cars, even if it is just an act.  which i sure hope it isn't...  much love.  by the way im a first time caller, long time lissener, i do love the show, and did vote...  i'll see you all Friday at the red ball.

   BMW should build that M1, while Porsche should bring back the 924 and the 928.
    The 911 sure is an icon and the best legendary chassis/engine set-up, but it's also too overrated already.

i cant say enough how Jay is my hero, he fuck'n rocks. the M1needs to make it to production somehow....

Come on BMW you can do better. M1 Homage is a disappointment. I respect the fact you took a chance with this design, but this is no good. M1 deserves better!

I kind of like the BMW Homage, i mean it can use a few tweaks here and there of course but overall I LIKE!

I like Lukas' idea of a Leno homage video.  All his footage.  I totally agree with him on the rich guy racer thing.  It takes their pretension to the next level, where Jay is a pretty regular guy with a boat load of money.

Chevy gave Jay a Z06 for his services of driving the pace Corvette at the 2006 Daytona 500. Just for a few inaugural laps. Nice deal, huh?
