Ford 2010 Mustang Unveiling, BMW Turbo Lag, Audi R8 GT3 Race Car - 11/19/2008

Its okay I don't like the rear bumpers on the 2010s or the 05-09, Chip Foose came out with his own design where the bumper comes up at an angle. I do like the curve they added under the rear windows.

You want to know, DD? You could drift a Yugoslavian '85 Tomos scooter on a floor glazed like that. I won't comment on Ford's use of an aftermarket guy like Shelby to forward its own flawed future.

Lighting and sound is horrible.  Do you guys know how to light?

The new Mustang looks really cool and they finally got the ass right I just it can take curves not like the last one!!!

Was it just me, or was that rear wing on the Audi HUGE!

No wonder the American automotive industry is going down the toilet. A 4.6L engine that produces only 320hp? Only an American car can produce such low power figures from such a high displacement engine.

The mustang just doesnt impress me.  Its just a few mods from the last one.  Few touches here and there.  Its all talk really.  Its nice, but just overhyped.  I would think the Camaro would win in the trio, that is, if american cars will still be built anymore.......

You gotta love ol' Carrol Shelby. He's had the human equivilent of a motor swap and at age 85, he's still looking to the future ("my favorite Shelby is the next one"). 

They did a good job of unveiling the new mustang. It looks pretty good, looks like a real muscle car. Not a lot of power but oh well like DD said it was loud, good enough for me. I would've wanted to see the dyno run though.

This is a weak attemp by Ford on a redesign. Basically its just new skin over the bones and muscle, or lack there of, of an 2005 stang. You can pretty much buy the front and rear clips for a 2010 and put them on the 05 model. Oh and still has a live axle in the back?!!! Come on where's the independent rear suspension?!! 

   As I'ved said on last FLD this new 'Stang is so greatly improved from previous and quite boring first iteration, this car now has got that very aggressive stance that the last one just did'nt live up to and good on Ford for including those rear haunches which makes the car more muscular.
   Good job there Ford.
   Now what I want to see after this is, is a showdown between the Chevy Camaro, Dodge Challenger and this new Ford Mustang over at TopGear ( England and or Australian show ) on who really is the best of the next-gen musclecars...

Nice 2010 Mustang! If only Ford U.S. would export it to Australia in right hand drive... I can always hope, and will probably have to.

the mustang... ehh its okay but it doesn't really look that different. I was expecting a major redesign into something similar to the "Guigaro" mustang concept, not just a few extra angles.

Hey!  Remember those that bought a Bullit Mustang?  They paid extra not just for the name, but the cold air intake which made 315hp.  Ha ha suckers...its standard on the 2010 model.  What will Ford come up with now when/if they do the Bullit again?  How about drop in a 5.8 with better than 450hp?  315hp is still weak.  Time to up the ante Ford.
