R8 V10, Cadillac Escalade Theft, Ford Focus RS, Covini C6W - 12/09/2008

i hate to burst fld's buble, but audi has had that v10 r8 for almost two years, i got to ride shotty in it on the merritt parkway in late 2007, pushing an easy 100-120 mph.

When Alex announced the Covini C6W, I wasn't looking at my screen and was thinking I would see a dually like a heavy duty truck with wheels side by side for good traction but then, DUHNT DUHNT DUHNT!!! WTF!!! I looked up at that "monstrosity"(monstrosity is in quotation marks because it might be a great car). It looks like a good candidate for the carbage section on the top gear website.

That Covini is so out of fashion!!! We are in the age of developing 16 wheeled smarts and 99 wheeled stretch limousines (of course in the name of weight reduction and fuel economy) ya right!! But anyway it's so 60's but even back then it was old fashioned cause they had the Peel P50 with 4 wheels!!! But even if that Covini is junk great show Alex love your 24/7 smile

Don't care if those 2 extra wheels does fix some suspension problems, they're still too ( two ) much wheels to pay extra for., plus the fact it's not really worth the effort with all the r/d on suspension/tire designs are advancing.

Granted, Six wheeled formula one cars where alright, tire wear was decreased, but.....in an age where SUV's have destroyed our society's economic system and helped kill so many innocent lives by changing the proportional dynamics of automobile accidents.....why would anyone, ANYONE suggest, that adding more tires and rims would actually improve things.......TIRE RACK MUST BE A SPONSOR! Looking good Alex. Short episode today, not much going on in the automotive world I guess. Six wheel supercar? Butt ass ugly, but, to each their own. At least there will only be six made a year. Maybe the four turning wheels help with understeer and oversteer problems. Who knows. How come Derek, and on Garage 419 Matt, have to recite the stupid ass Valvoline monologue after each of the Brandon and the Frog commercials, and Alex doesn't. meh... 6-wheels been done before. Tyrrell built a 6-wheeled F1 racer for ELF before most of you (including Duhr-D, Juli-Djurr, and the Gazelle I'll bet) were born. What moron in their right mind would EVER think of actually building one of these pieces of crap? Even Bob Lutz was smart enough to pass on it. lol It probably has a bigger turning radius than a Hummer. I love the Audi engine though. By far the best part of the car. We'll never get our hands on the Focus RS. The US is cursed. I would almost swear they build these cars just to tease us.

I tihnk the 6 wheeled car is kind of a retarted idea. What advantage does it give you while driving. More Traction maybe But why have more traction if your just going to drive it around california. It doesnt seem like much of a racecar because of the long body style. So My question is.....WHY?
