with all these teams dropping out and nascar being the stupidest sport ever, i say everybody just restarts can-am racing and we go from there. plus, if there are fewer restrictions for hybrids and electrics, those areas will be developed quicker as companies try and make faster cars using them. that's a win-win i'd say.

racing is not doomed but rather reinventing how things are done. Silly? yes, build more fuel efficient crap that goes really fast and we might see a come-back.
