Geneva Motor Show - Day Three - 03/05/2009

Oh and maybe you should all blame every manner and form of SUV's and crossover vehicles for the big 3's ( GM, Ford and Chrysler ) meltdown... the Cayennes, X5/X6's, FX35/50's and a whole lot of others which were "specifically marketed, designed and built for the entire U.S.of A." is now actually suffocating the domestic car industry, how can you compete with those quality badges?... pitted against every large car and pick-up trucks which you all love...

I love lamp ! wait..I mean lampo.

Protoscar Lampo??? seriously thats what it takes to be a exotic car maker these days? It used to be you needed an exotic sounding name to evoke thoughts of the exotic ladies you plan to pick up in said car. I guess you could lighten it and and some thing-a-ma-bobs and do-hickies and call it the "Protoscar Lampo PL 560-4 Stradalle Spec V" but how are they gonna get past peoples thoughts going to images of limited edition lamps that have been in bad accidents when hearing "Protoscar Lampo"

i would DIE! if GM went out of buisiness, there such a good company with such good quality vehicles and all those automotive companys that would be lost would be devistating

Founding father Benjamin Franklin said something to the effect that we need a revolution every 200 years or so, because all governments become stale and corrupt. GM, your revolution is coming...or is it ours?

Question is how many millions of dollars will GM boss Mr. Wagoner be taking home if the company does fold-up?... US gov't truly and honestly should'nt hand these thieves any more bail-out cash. No one would care about GM's execs, workers and unions if the entire population of America would suffer... I say let them sink in their own muck and start fresh --- ideas, management and probably lose the GM name and change it...

I wish the upper management at GM would pull their heads out their asses. You need to sell cars, so lower the price and get them moving. Better to take a loss of profits than lose the company! Streamline the car line-up. Who needs a Trailblazer, Traverse, HHR and Equinox all with very similar features? Light duty people movers. Pick one, focus on making it better and put the rest to pasture for the time being. I live in Alaska, the Tahoe and Suburban are a needed vehicle for some, but it's about time to see better economy with those powerplants. Nice entrance today Derek, only thing that would make it better is to add the old school Star Trek sound effects.

It may be a case of good idea....bad timing with BMW SUVs. But they will be a success. Look at Porsche. No one thought Porsche should sell SUVs and look at how many different versions they have.

What's going on at BMW? Did they hire a bunch of GM Execs? More Giant luxury SUV's huh? Stick to what you do best BMW!!!!!

hey i know that the us auto makerit is bad but i went to the dodge to test drive a car i was there for 1hr wating on someone to help me and everone walkin passme and i got mad went some where elsy then i pass by the mini dealer and walk in ask some ???? and the guy goes u want to drive one and i side yes and i was there for 3min what u think about that and he side i just sold 3 today wat u guys think do u think is going to get that bad that there well me no more us cars no more ??? beside fords?
