Next BMW M3, Cadillac WiFi, High Speed Train in Michigan - 3/20/2009

Please let Matt Farhah do all the FLDtours episodes going forward.  He is very credible.  However these reviews are too short.  As a programming suggestion I would expand the segment to be 4 minute on the review:
•	30-60 Second giving a quick 360 veis of the car with voice over on the key specs and impressions
•	120 seconds (short track like TG for performance cars or ¼ mile and skid pad, burns outs etc)
•	You should create a scoring systems like most of the print magazines do and then have 30 seconds of follow up, scoring and rating chart/matrix vs. all of the other tested cars in the classes (Sub compact, Truck, SUV/Cross Over, sport coupe etc.)

I liked the FLDetours as well.  Love the car, but don't forget, you can pick up a highly regarded Pontiac G8 GXP with 415HP for just over ,200, so while the Challenger is a great "value" at just over ,600 (from dodge.com web site), it isn't the lowest cost "over 400 HP" vehicle out there.

So it comes down to, besides the looks of the "retro cool" Challenger vs. the more "modern sedan" look of the G8, is the extra 10 HP and 5 lbft of torque worth the extra ,400.

Sure, two different styles, but both very capable.  I guess some people wouldn't even consider a 4-door car as a performance vehicle...

Camaro will definitely beat both Mustang and Challenger in the best musclecar experience.
  Its got the cred, look and feel in aces.

For the money, the Challenger R/T is better.  Sure its a bit over 50hp you're giving up, but its a heavy car.  Let the suckers who absolutely MUST have the most HP buy the SRT8.  You'll save K from the sticker and you could put in a supercharger.  You'll still have some money left over.  It is a beautiful car, and I don't say that about many American cars.

I laugh at the fact that the new Camaro SS not only undercuts the Challenger SRT-8 by about k, but it weighs like 900lbs less and has pretty much the same horsepower.  The Challenger, other than being a looker, is a complete joke of a car.  This is why Chrysler is in such a deep hole right now, because they don't know how to build cars properly.

and with the M5... do something fast,
when i say fast in mean like as soon as the next reg 5 comes out make a M5 with like 565hp (keep a v10 in there to) ((do like a 5.5L or something))
just do it before the cts-v kills you.

FL Detours: Challenger SRT8 quote "As far as I know the cheapest American car with over 400 horsepower."

You need to look a little farther!  The 2009 Pontiac G8 GXP with an LS3 is rated at 415HP and has a MSRP well under the K mark, try 00 less as a matter of fact!
The 2008 GXP was rated at 402HP.  

The G8 may not have the same curb appeal, but it is mighty fun to do burnouts with!
