2009 NYIAS, Cadillac Converj for Production, Fast and Furious 5, Brawn GP - 04/15/2009

I am getting so fed up with American manufacturers treating their potential customers like idiots. Cars premiere as "production versions" at shows that are completely different to what actually goes on sale. As if the 'fake' EVs weren't enough, the 2011 Cruze at the NY show has cross-drilled brake discs. Really? I mean REALLY?
Keep treating the public like total idiots....and keep scratching your head wondering why everyone loathes not only the shoddy vehicles you produce, but your whole corporate policy as well.

Very poor take on the NYC show, we expected some inside information on Nissan GTR orders, Nismo Z, etc.  Also, please do a story on a modified Nismo Z with twin turbos, supercharged etc.

Well, better camera work this time, but please "slowly" manually zoom in/out vs using the quick and jerky motorized zoom.  I'm not a camera guy but I notice this stuff.

That grill on the Cruze is hideous. The Cobalt looks better. Hell I'd rather drive that Kia Forte that was displayed directly after the Cruze. The Kia looks better and it has more power. Some of the other lines on the Cruze aren't bad, but the grill. fugly.

Like the Converj. Dare i say...It Kinda looks like the love child of a Cadillac XLR V and a Audio R8. Also interesting how the Cobalt's replacement will have a toyota sized 1.4 liter. Even though it will be a turbo 1.4 is an interesting look for Chevy. Could they Really be trying to change?
