I do not get the problem the USA gov’t has with Chrysler. They are privately owned, so if they do not want to bail them out…just LEAVE THEM ALONE! If they can be saved, save them, other wise I am sure they will figure it out themselves.  Enough of this or else crap! Their line up is not too shabby and the potential future 300c looks great! 

Plus, why FORCE them to join Fiat, why make them become less “American”. If you want to save the “American” auto industry, forcing an alliance with a European company is a little counter productive not?

Great Video and summary! However many 335i coupe and sedan owners would beg to differ on it's track and sport readiness. Of course the hardtop convertible isn't track worthy...it ways to much. However both the coupe and sedan according to Car & Driver can hit 60 in 4.9 seconds (the auto sedan actually was posted somewhere as besting the manual coupe at 4.8). Now that's stock. For less then 00 more there are many aftermarket tuners who can take this engine into the 420HP, 470lb of torque and a 0-60 time of 4.3 on 91 octane. Vishnu, Juice Box, and Dinan to name a few. Plus a fully speced with every gizmo known to man sedan or coupe comes in the high 40k to low 50k range, much less then the hardtop convertible. M3 beater any day with a little bit of tuning...yet cheaper by 15-20K and way better mileage.

Twin Turbo 6cyl. engines are great for Non-Exotic cars.  But putting it on an XJ220 was the biggest mistake of all.  They lost most of the orders when Jaguar switched it from V12 to the cheaper TTV6 motor.  You just dont put a 6cyl on any exotic cars.  V8 V10 V12 is the only way to go for exotics.

Garage-419!!!. Stop trying to be like top gear (Because you can't). First of all you don't have the production power and you don't have skilled people to present, to make it look like top gear. None the less to make it look professional. It's a car show not a guide to find makeout spots. Be professional!!!

As for Derek D, he has his own style and he makes FLD interesting to watch. So two thumbs up for the D-man.

As for Allan/Alan, Get a haircut. Well we know why you were crying because garage419 will never be a great show. Keep crying.

there was too much filler and scenic stuff in the beginner it is good to have it but it is way to long more than minute cut it 9in half and get to the chase

Great episode, but I hope Matt had the windows up for the recording.  Convertible drivers that drive with the windows up doesn't seem right.  If you want to keep the windows up, buy a car with a moon roof!

i was there last week for Spring Break (wooo)  and it is beautiful driving down 101 and i hate driving. if u ask me i would go to oreegon way better and u can go to the coast . not half bad but they could at lest put more on the specs and not on the  drive!!!

~ What would we like to see? Attn: Mr.Morningstar, DELETE first 2.5 minutes + last 2.5 minutes of NOTHING. DELETE piano, its terribly distracting & unnecessary. While you're at it, delete the whole program since there was really very little substance anyway. All we heard was how nice it was to drive with the top down on a sunny day. Like Forest Gump couldn't figure that out on his own.

And all those great show comments are obviously on the NNN payroll.

Ummm yeah that was good... Was not in the best mood seeing as how i just found out I have to change a O2 sensor that is gonna cost me 180.00 to 200.00, but this put me right back on a level plain. Well Done Well Done Indeed!

I watch FLD and G419 regularly, and I have to say, todays show was fantastic. The music, the editing, the camera angles were just fantastic. More stuff like this pls.
I have driven on the PCH and I can certainly relate to the romance of that road.
Now do another test like this, but in a more exotic machinery like an Aston Martin or Spyker :)

Great job with the review and the scenic drive.  I don't know if it was just the drive or the music or what, but it's nap time at my desk right now.  Matt definitely conveyed the feeling of freedom by just relaxing and cruising.  I am jealous for that experience.  I would love to take out a nice car and just go.  When I wake up I'll feel refreshed and ready to go.  Thanks FLD & Garage 419

I think Matt Ferah did a great job, very Top Gear-esque. My only comment, or gripe if you will, is that he needs to show more emotion. I know you're a car guy Matt, just like the rest of us, so you have a passion that needs to come out in front of the camera. I do think though that you and Derek should do ALL of the FLD tours because you bring a personality to the show that people, and therefor gear-heads, can connect with.....Ohh, and F the GTR, nobody gives a crap about tuning companies that can make a Jap car cost more than a porsche and perform almost as well.

guys, this episode should be called "monkey´s funeral"!  Why are we not doing more stories on the GTR??  There is so much material for a comparative of all the different tuners of the GTR!  People want to believe and know what it means to to take it from 480hp to 550hp, 600hp, etc., where marginal benefit kicks in, etc.  Come on guys,
