Ford Dealers are Safe, VW Scirocco R, Volvo the Game, VW GLORIA - 05/20/2009

Is the Volvo game going to simulate FWD under-steer? ;-) Myself included, I imagine there are many (maybe majority) who would rather not run Microsoft Windows on an in car computer. I liked the animation.

damn them for not bringing the scirroco to the states. that car is so hot.. who gives a damn what ford does.. i still dont like their cars. they are being held up because they taylor to their clientele in texas (trucks) their wives (five hundreds and taureses) and their daughters (mustangs). For that they are smart. but i hate their cars. Volvo... lets not go there... i rather waste a perfectly good dollar playing the sucky taxi game in the arcades before i ever spend any penny on a VOLVO game. Need for speed PART 1 with the lambo back in the 90's looks better than that. 3D gps sounds like a nice idea, i bet you the cnet guys wont like the complexity of the interface. finally, lego. I LOVE legos. Its great the kids are playing with it, kinda kool they are making (clean) movies. But keep it in the house or in the fam. Proper car pron should be played here. just felt weird looking at that for so long. dont make me do that again. please.

That'd be like a group of people getting their grandmas together to see which one solves the puzzle the fastest. Can I buy a vowel? Besides, it's PC based. It won't be too long before someone hacks the crap out of it and programs in a real car. How does any Volvo stack up against an RS4?

Wow, this has got to be the worst episode of Fast Lane Daily I've ever seen. The lego skit was TERRIBLE!!!! Trying new ideas is one thing, but there are some new ideas that suck arse.

The nav system VW may bring over here seems great. Do you think the Germans got word that the satellites may die out by next year? Hopefully, we'll have new satellites by then. Be consistant when delivering the car news. A few days ago, you said Chrysler is cutting almost 1000 dealerships. And now today, its nearly 800. I agree with Tom. You'd think that someone would get the idea to survey the dealerships and cut the ones that are making the least money. Its not good business sense. Please FLD, do not continue the "Lego Cops". It was a waste. I'm sure you could have brought more car news.

Please tell me why closing dealerships will save the auto companies money? If the dealership is profitable it will help the auto company, if it isn't it will close its doors. It seems to be silf regulating.!!

Umm, yeah, thanks for the LEGO segment. It was a cool effort from the kids and all, but c'mon that wasn't even close to true life. No hookers, drug dealers, police beatings or anything. Haven't they ever played Grand Theft Auto? Why was he arrested, for speeding? I didn't see any radar gun in that cop car. WTF man, they didn't follow procedure, so that dude might as well walk out the front of the police station. All seriousness, that was a neat idea, and I'm glad kids are playing with video. That's a skill that they can build from. That said, please do not subject us to that again. That was the longest part of the show today and was painful to watch. Neither FAST nor FRESH. I'm sure there could be something else "real" car related that you could put in as filler. Car show highlights, tech tips, local car scene focus or something. Shit, I'd rather watch Brandon and the Frog again. Well, maybe that's an exaggeration.

Ok i am all for the funny stuff but............Leggo Prison break.................. i almost would have liked to hear more about the GTR than that. Volvo Video game....intersting marketing.
