Brabus E-Class, Geiger Cars Z06, GT-R Clunkers, FLD Shakedown - 05/21/2009

I think the shakedown segment is awesome. I can't catch all the races so I love the updates, and Leo's opinion. I didn't know who leo was until i gained respect for him, his opinion, and his input from the G419 Epsodes. DD is a case of coors, and Leo is a bottle of whiskey! However, I did not like this episode of shakedown only because it was an interview of someone I didn't recognize (sorry Leo/Rick) and I like that "Every Race Update in 5 Min" feel of the original shakedown. Just my .02!

I think the Shakedown is great though this week's format is not a good direction. Like the interview but the scrolling text is not.

Ok this is how i think the segment Shakedown goes, It Fucking sucks, no offence; but seriously, it like 5 mins. Derek D your fucking awsome and the rest of the FLD team. Keep it up and fire the guy who is hosting Shakedown cuz he sounds like the guy in American Pie 2. -.- LOL

The music on the shakedown annoys the piss out of me, to the point where i just fast forward through it.. good segment, bad music.. Roman

Stop complaining!!!! I like the new SHAKEDOWN segment. It's nice to see that FLD will do things different from the others. It’s a great way to incorporate racing with car news! I don’t know… it’s maybe just me… but doesn’t car racing and car news go well together??? Keep it up!

Really dont like shake down. its the only thing you guys that have introduced that just bores me to death. I think it needs a rethink.

I'm a fan of the "Shakedown" segment, but today's portion definitely didn't do much for me. I want to hear Leo report racing news that special way that The Suit does instead of reading it on a ticker while listening to a boring racing driver that 99% of the FLD audience doesn't know. I guess it's alright to change it up every once and while but that wasn't entertaining at all. The show was good as usual (except for the sword play), but you gotta give me the Leo racing report. To make up for the boringness of this weeks Shakedown, maybe next week you can get Farah, Spinelli and The Suit to do a little F1 chatter. Monaco will not disappoint.

If I remember correctly, the Nissan GTR does actually qualify as an "Ultra-Low-Emissions-Vehicle". It just happens to use lots of gas. Using gas and emissions content aren't the same thing. Technically, the program worked, just not in the way some people were expecting.

If you really want to dedicate racing, why not start up another channel & let Leo run free with it? OR have him host G419? Again, the background noise makes it seem like its not so important. Luv Leo & he's beyond this. Like asking Berlusconi to do the dishes. ~ Re commercials, I really don't mind the 'softer' commercials lately. Looking at pretty girls is easy on the eyes. I almost liked the last 0.99 cent video, the song was cool too. I used to go nutso with the RAMBO! Thank god thats over.

What has happened to "Garage 419"? I keep switching over after Fast Lane but continue to see that same Shelby. When are you going to give equal time to the female watchers with a male Bikini Driving School?, and the dove commercial should be targeted at the Lifetime channel audience.

It would seem that this new SHAKEDOWN segment is going to continue to eat up more than half the program on Thursdays. Thank you for at least keeping it on the same day so I can skip watching on this day every week. Seems one of the car magazines started really packing in the racing news in their publication a few years ago. Yep can't remember exactly which one that was since I canceled it. Well I really hope "Fast Lane Daily" doesn't lose my interest by becoming "Fast Lane 4 Times a Week"

Is there really that big of a market for Brabus? hmmm 220 big ones for the Vette is tantalizing to say the least. Is there a souped up version of the Skyline that can race it on the ring? Sorry, still not digging the shakedown. Without trying to sound like a d!ck, impossible for me sometimes, I think it's his voice. He has a softer voice. Try punching up his bass or mid levels. Give his voice a bit more punch. Not sure what it is, but his voice is not projecting. Maybe just punch up the gain on his voice. This being said, I love the content. Not bashing, just trying to help. LOL at the sword! I find myself waiting to see what you will be doing next.

Good show. Hey Suit, Please write out the comments in Shakedown, text-speak is not easy to read, and you had enough time to actually spell it all out. I liked the scrolling bar though. Less talk about "balls" though, kinda weird. Well, at any rate, the Shakedown segment is getting stronger every week. Awesome job on the efforts! I want to see the Green Geiger Corvette in car porn. That would be awesome to see in action. I want to hear that punched out twin-turbo American muscle zooming by the camera. I can only imagine what that 890hp engine sounds like. Gives me a huge grin!

Did I seriously just see a commercial for Dove? On Fast Lane Daily?...And this ties in to cars how?
