Aww come on mazda miata?? the mx-5?? what a s**t car for our days!! Couldn't they bring something beta out?? A '96 toyota levin bzr (AE111) would prety much outperform that and is powered by a 1.6l naturally aspirated 20v DOHC quad throttle power plant. prob not to so good because its FWD still with a factory standard of 165BHP!!! get that mazda 2.0l still sux only 170BHP that's bad.... plus u stil have only to seats in the mazda its prob good if u middleaged and got not idea about cars but u wanna showoff with a sport car..... PATHETIC disappointed hopefully Toyota will think again about the 4AGE engines they are brilliant

Someone on your staff should take these ridiculous comments out, then trace them by their email address and ban them. As for the Miata, I've commented on it before. It's still powered by the p*ssy, no balls powerplant. They should have put in the wankel engine in long ago. Or at least the 2.3 Turbo as an option. For the money, I'd rather buy a Audi TT for an extra few grand more. Money well spent in my opinion. Saab and Koenigsegg joining forces...we've heard you guys talking about that before. Hopefully more spirited models will come to our shores. Not rebadged Subarus.

ok to begin with andy h you spent a half hour writing that bull s**t i am sorry you are still a virgin but you need to have get some sort of a life or go kill yourself ... secondly saab koenisegg sounds like a good idea hopefully they can make some cool cars that aren't just Malibu s whit leather seats and a key in the wrong place.

I -love- the miata's. that being said, i have beef with Mazda. After all these years, they should at least put an option of a rotary in the miata and mazda3. OPTION. C'mon. Gen3 Rotary. If thats what you got as your ace in the hole use it, develop it. Because they dont, i think mazda doesnt live up to its potential. (even thought they have some nice cars lately).

The Miata is a fun car but its just too heavy for the amount of power it has. You put the top down and open the throttle and your smile does light up until you look at the speedo and notice that your only doing 35 mph. At 30,000 dollars it hardly qualifies as entry level either. And finally the Miata is like a fat chick, its only fun to ride until your friends see you.

Hopefully some of that supercar DNA makes it's way into the Saab lineup. Hopefully they scrap the existing line-up and start over first. What, if any, would be their method of selling those in America again? Will the have to stay in Sweden now? Will that be part of the contract with GM to use it's dealer network? JF, nice FLDetour. You are too big for that car. That's the problem with those sporty convertibles. I am tall like you and a bit stockier too. I sat in a Solstice at the dealer and thought there is no way I could drive this car. It's way too small. Look at how close the steering wheel is to your chest. The seat can't move back any further. It's just not built for us bigger people. That said, I do like the Miata. For what it is, it is a great car. They just need to scale it up and offer a bigger version. Cheers, -D

Thank God Saab might be getting bought by Koenigsegg(i think thats how u spell it). Cuz Saab kept stressing the fact that the company was started by 16 aircraft engineers but clearly their cars dont remind me of a go-fast, omg i think this car is about to take off if i hit the throttle anymore, rocket on wheels. Instead it reminds me of the rejected step child of the sedan and wagon family. Hopefully now Saab can actually live up to its claims
