The Peugeots were definitely very quick, actually they were on another league this time around and it's not the TDI/R10 but TDI/R15 Audi which was mostly bogged-down by suspension trouble and the car being fairly new... ...even the petrol-powered Gulf Aston Martin were a threat to Audi but not the super-quick Peugeot. If Porsche makes another 911 look-a-like on this 914 revival, they better go to hell.

Hopefully Porsche and VW won't collaborate on a project like the 914. The only decent 914 was the one with the v6 engine. Maybe both companies can redeem themselves from the 924 by building an updated version.
