great review on the Solstice.. we considered one back in '06, but settled on the other car that begins with a "P".. a Posche Boxster S. it has place for my change, my sunglasses, my cellphone, storage of paper stuff in the door and two cup holders!!.. ok, no ipod, but i can still live without it, as i like the roar of my engine.. and the fabric roof stores nicely in the back while still having a butt load of trunk space left over.. however.. the look of the new solstice is definately eye catching!! and by golly, at the end of the day, that's all that matters! enjoy it!! and i absolutel love this site!!!!

quick question, is the Ford Kuga what you hook up with at the bar and when you get to her place she says I want to make sure my kids are still asleep before you wreck their mom?

Nice job with the FLDetours today. I like the new intro graphics. The "hosted by" looked really sharp. You had a lot of good comments about the Solstice. It was nice to hear real world concerns in the FLDetours. Nice ride! Have a good weekend. -D

Derek, you were not nitpicking. Really, I have the same complaints about the Solstice/Sky. Every Sports Car now comes with “proper” cup holders and storage compartments. So it really is a bad decision by Pontiac not to design those elements into the car. In some people’s minds, that could be a deal breaker. It kind of is for me, I ALWAYS have something to drink with me and the holders in the GXP are so horribly placed, it is really pushing me away from that car.

btw, i think the saturn sky is better. same platform, same basic design, but with much sharper and straight styling cues. not to mention that the saturn badge looks better coming at you on the sky than the pontiac badge on the solstice. just to throw that out there. i'm sure there will be some heated discusion, and Derek is going to hate me for hatin on his solstice.
