KEEP THE G8 the g8 should be rebadged as a new impala ss. the impala ss right now is the most boring looking and performing SS in chevys fleet when it used to have such a good reputation

Keep the G8, It's too good of the car for the US not to have.

GM should use the G8 and call it the Chevy Caprice. And of course, the Caprice SS with the Corvette engine. The US should change the law so 3 wheeled vechiles are categorized as a car and not a motorcycle. Demand for the vehicles would be greatly higher and help out the economy. Keep up the good work Mike. Derek...whats up?

g8= great car but im done with the gm bullshi* so i dont even care anymore.

I say they should keep the G8 alive and if that means rebadge it as a Chevy then so be it. It's been to long since GM offered a good performing rear wheel drive car in the mainstream market for it to go away completely.

GM should bring back the G8 like Derek D brings back my urge to wear a sport coat with a t-shirt...or tuck my shirt into my belt.

I am with Bobby, I think they should re-badge it as a Caprice and roll on with it. This car is a powerhouse and should be discontinued so quickly. I am not a huge fan of cops having 6 liters of criminal-catching power when they are behind me, but it will make for some great "COPS" episodes! The Impala SS wouldn't work out with the front wheel drive system but the Caprice would be a nice return!

I would like to the G8 to become the new Impala. The Impala is due for an upgrade and should always be kept RWD with a V-8.

Damned commercials, this might be a little less aggravating if you put all the commercials in the beginning, or even better, at the end =D. And left the rest of the episode commercial-free. Id love the G8 to stick around. But only if they offer the GT and GXP models. I plan on getting my LS3 on.

YES, GM needs to keep the G8 around. It's one of their best cars. If they do make it a Chevy, they need to drop the Impala though.
