Porsche 911 Sport Classic, Honda Accord Crosstour, Police Car Stolen, My First Car - 09/02/2009

My first car was a 1981 Pontiac Grand Le Mans... It was a tank on wheels... Had I only not crashed it into a light pole - it might still be alive... My suggestion to prevent that? Don't fall asleep at the wheel...

my 1st car was a 1991 corolla (2 years older than me) that car was the $h!t, i loved that car, hey i learned how to drive in that car and even learned how to drift in that car. I didnt know a 1991 corolla could reach 100mph in less than a mile lol.

My first car was a 1983 Datsun 280zx that I flipped into a ditch which totaled it then I fixed it and then the ECU literally blew up so I replaced it then one day the fan clutch gave out and shoved the fan into the radiator after which I drove home the 20 miles it took to get home and got it to keep running until I made it to my drive way where it broke down and instead of slamming it into park i let it roll back into the street while i yelled fuck and after that I was done.

first car was an 79 civic 1200 i was born in 80 so it was a year older but it was awesome i used to leave the key on the driver seat with the windows down it was the fastest car ever in first my buddy got pulled over for smoking a 5.o off the line and the cop said i would write you a ticket if that wasn't the funniest thing i ever saw the only time i ever got off the line the bimmer lost his tranny when he hit second.  It would max at 85 with te ebrake on and the windows down and increase by 5 mph each with the ebrake and windows up 95 at best.  but the best was that it would shoot flames out the tail pipe when you maxed out third and pumped the clutch.  So much moore i could say but i'm too lazy too keep writing.

For my first car, i want to get a 1998-2002 Pontiac Trans Am. Fairly inexpensive, super reliable, and its just fricken awsome.

My first car was a Ford Capri Mk1 1300GT with a 1600GT engine in it and a very short shift stick (it broke in half) because of the bigger engine with the 1300 gearbox and diff it was quite quick off the mark but it topped out at just over 100mph. I loved that car until I let my older brother borrow it for a few weeks and in that time it got stolen, recovered and abused, it was never the same again. Mind you I had some fun in that car, I gave a girl a lift home, she was a friend of a friend and she said she had to pay me which she did only I didn't receive money hehe, what was funny though was I had bucket seats which didn't recline so she had fun with the parking brake and shifter too.

My first car.  A 1985 Dodge 600 convertible with 29000 miles. And yes it was a car that the A-team used (haven't heard that before). The problem was I was born in 1984, so that made the car 1 year younger then me and lets face it its not the sharpest looking vehicle (show picture or google).  29000 miles sounds like a steal, yaa well the old woman I bought it from stopped driving it in 1992 and when I picked it up in 2001 lets just say it ran like a fat kid on a treadmill.  O well then the convertible makes up for it... not so much see chicks don't like a convertible thats perminatly down expecally when you live in New England, in the winter, with a broken thermostat.  When I eventually sold the 600 I got less then I paid for and saw it for sale at a near by dealer with the convertible top closed :/

Yo. my first car is a 09 altima coupe 3.5SE its under my parents name but its my car. I beat the living shit out of my car and im proud of it. theirs 11k miles on it now and ive had to get my brakes fixed twice. ha. record? my car will never see 200k miles like some of these guys. especially not with the 75 shot of nitrous i have on it. I love the show I can honestly say i watch it every day. Its better then speed and sex combined. well maybe not. but its close.

My first car was a 1989 Camry Station Wagon.... station wagon....but it was manual though.  Nobody expected that one thats for sure.  I would do burnouts with it, and people thought i was doin burnouts on an auto, they didnt believe it.  hunk of junk that i loved and beat on aggressively unnecessarily and still ran.  When i got it i had to change the engine for 200 bucks.  But that second engine was more reliable than the atomic clock.  i ran without oil without a problem.  That has got to be on the top ten most common beginner cars of all time.     About those hondas... honda designers seem to be like a group of anemic fashion models throwing up whatever they see and catching it on paper and putting it in the production line.  That Accord Crosstour looks nearly as bad as the Aztek.  I felt queasy just lookin at it.

I once walked by a cop car that had the engine running without the pig inside. I left a note on it that said please turn your car off next time. from the taxpayer. I found the note later in the parking lot balled up on the ground. PS pig don't litter

wow, honda totally ripped off the grill from the 2010 Fusion on that crosstour thing...

first car was/is a 1998 Saturn Wagon. who cares if its half plastic, i get 35+MPG on the highway. hopefully getting a new car soon tho, maybe a Mini Coupe if it makes it to production

also, was looking at some OLD episodes of FLD with you in them DD. been watching since the beginging and i must say you were pretty damn awkward back then. good to see you got comfortable in front of the camera. you and the crew keep up all the good work.

my first and still driven car is a 1998 Neon, the steering wheel shakes violently at speeds above 65, the suspension squeaks around each turn, but man she pulls hard at the drag strip.  I love my neon!

first car was a 1988 buick lesabre t-type, bought it off my older sister for 0 more than it was worth cuz she needed the money, 1 week after driving it found out the master cylinder leaked when i was coming to a red light hitting the brakes and nothing happened lol. continued to drive it with the leaking master cylinder (just had to fill it when the brake pedal started going closer and closer to the floor) until my mechanic said he couldnt push it passed the state inspection anymore without buying a new master cylinder which cost 0 more than i paid for the car. What a nice older sister eh?

My first, and present car, is a 2000 VW Jetta 2.0L automatic. It needs a ton of front end work, headgasket, and balls.You guys wanna hook me up with something that resembles a sports car? Id be very thankful. Very nice episode today.

Mine was a 1984 Dodge Daytona TBI. Nothing like one really big injector to make 93 face ripping horse power. Trans started slipping at close to 200,000 mile. Sold it in '97 for 0. Still saw them driving it five years later.

I still have my first car. It's a 1988 Honda Accord Lxi. I take care of the old thing and will be sad when it's gone.

That would be Duluth, GA which is in Gwinnett (Gwen-net) County. Close...but not quite. Like the map though! Point of interest, for those who have the pleasure in thier lifetime to be stopped by a Duluth Police officer, this story is pretty hilarious because those guys are supreme A-Holes!

First car.. Was a 1981 US-model VW Rabbit 1.5 diesel. And this was in Norway, I later got a 1986 Golf 1.8 Syncro, 1992 Golf TDK, Golf IV TDI, Audi A3 TDI, BMW 320i sedan, Golf IV TDI 4-Motion, BMW 318TD, Merc C220CDI, BMW 320cd and now i've got an Opel Zafira OPC 240hp FWD wagon....

My first car was a 1988 Citröen AX 11 TRE, 3 doors, silver. The dashboard was all cracked up, and the engine was on its dying breaths, but I still managed to keep it for 2 years. Then, the good Engine's God taked it to it's company, with 300.000+ km's... I miss that little car :P

My first car was a 1970 Ford Torino Cobra Jet with a 429 and 4-speed.  My passengers said whenever I got on the gas, they could see the needle drop on the gas gauge.

First car 1970 Fiat Spider orange.  It was my parents car, then my sisters, and then mine.  Had it a year and when I was doing bodywork to change the color the car chassis was rusted out.  So my parents sold it and got a '69 AMC AMX 390 4 speed car, cragar SS/T N50 mickey thompsons out back, volkswagon tires up front on cragars.

first car was a 1999 subaru legacy outback. bought it used in NH about an hour away from home. broke down on my way home 20 minutes from my house. pulled over at first exit and waited for AAA for 2 hours because they went to the wrong place. when i got a jump start and spent all the money in my wallet to fill up with 2 gallons of gas i headed 1/4 mile up the road to get more gas. broke down as i pulled into the station at the pump. had it towed back up to NH where i found out the engine was blown. got it fixed for free (multiple times) and pulled sick nasty AWD drifts in the snow the next week.
