For about the same price as the Tour Egg ( and it does look like one ) you could get a Cayenne S granted the mpg aren't as good but if you want to drive around a food product you may as well hit a diffirent isle and get an oscar meyer mobile

Being a former 97 TwinTurbo Toyota Supra owner, I was appalled to read that the new Lexus LF-A is going to be priced at well over 0k!!  I mean great for Toyota for pushing the envelope with new technology, but really, in this economy??  They are lucky if they sell the 150 units that are being imported to the states.  Toyota would have been wise to take some of the Nissan GT-R market share by developing an k Supra since it's know for it's legendary performance, cult-like following, and bullit proof reliability.  But hey, what do I know?  I'm just another auto enthusiast/consumer with an opinion.

From what I understand, the Brake Energy Recovery System in the new 5-Series is a KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System) in name only.  Where as the Formula One style system recovers brake energy and uses it to directly assist in acceleration in short bursts, the BMW system uses that energy to recharge the standard car battery which reduces the need for a standard alternator which saps power from the engine.
