This list is so bogus. The GT-R was introduced in mid 2008, not 2009. I'm surprised Aston Martin wasn't mentioned by anyone.

JustNiz, Your comment about the Corvette leaf spring proves that you don't know what you are talking about. No 1940s car used a composite leaf spring combined with double wishbone suspension. When people like you bash it all they do is prove they don't know much about cars. Check out the wikipedia Corvette leaf spring article and lean a bit.

ok I only have 1 disagreement its that the Fans Should have voted the 370z in 3rd place, because it Handles like the GTR,,,,,,,and Hell Yeah!!!!!!!!!!! the ZR-1 Won!, its a Beast!!!!!!!!!

You seemed unhappy with cars "the fans" voted on to the list. So what do you think, being knowledgeable car guys. The Caddy? too high or too low? The 370z - do you think it should not have been n the list? What car(s) introduced in 2009 do you think are missing from the list.

That top 5 list is crazy. All the amazing cars out this year and OMG theres a Honda fit, a caddy gets #3 and a corvette at #1? No mention of the new Ferrari, Jags, new Aston or anything actually desireable? I just dont see how you can criticise the 2 year old GTR for being old news then right after give #1 to a corvette which has been totally the same car for at least the last 15 years. Every year they just switch the engine and make some very minor tweaks to secondary bodywork. I think corvettes even still use leaf spring suspension, which most other car manufacturers had dropped by the 1940's. No Euro sports car could get away with having so laughably hideous suspension system yet yanks seem to not be bothered at all by cars that handle badly and dont do corners. I wonder why is that?

I am very disappointed with FLD and its fans. Usually, quite informative, with this episode you have left your 'fans' fuming with anger. Firstly, if you are going to have a top 7 list, you may include some decent cars up there, where are the new Jaguars, Porsches, Lamborghinis, Bugattis or even VW's Golf, the world car of the year. Please stop being so biased towards American junk like the ZR1 which is an overpowered, under-engineered, uncontrollable, vulgar, cheap and miserable 'car that falls apart. You may also be happy to be informed that the vulgar CTS-V is no longer the fastest saloon around the 'ring', the Panamera Turbo is, which is much heavier and has a comparatively miserable lump of power, which really goes to how the limits of American engineering. In my opinion the jaguar XFR/XKR or the Porsche 911 Turbo should have won. And, good day to you from a former fan.
