OK, so it's clear by now to the fans that there will be no formal response from FLD as to why to our friend Derek D was removed as the presenter from the show we had all grown to love and support. This shows utter contempt not only to Derek D but to the fans, you know the loyal group of people that watch the show and yes sit through the revenue generating advertisements. Remember the companies buy advertising space on the show only because their target group watch it, therefore nobody watching = no revenue. The whole waiting for two weeks for a better FLD I'm sure was just bought time to clean house. I can't help thinking that the management took the fans all for a bunch of mugs during this time. That's not to mention how Derek D might have been treated during the last two weeks, not to forget and Leo and the rest of the gang. If the management team has any vision left, they should reverse their decision and bring back Derek D with the old format. Yes we all make mistakes, but mistakes can sometimes be corrected and damaged repaired. Swallow your pride and come out from behind the corporate silence and admit an error has been made.

Doesn't anyone pay attention to the show at all? Right in the beginning it says "Hosted episodes will return shortly". The first few episodes of HOSTED shows will be reviewing the hate comments. lol Just goes to show most FLD audience have ADD or something. On a more personal note, I hope Derek D. found something else to utilize his skills and further his career. Hosting an automotive show as FLD is ok for a year or two, but I hope he moves on.

what the hell, the most entertaining part of this new FLD was the cat drinking from the tap, if you idiots cant get derek d back, or at the very least a host with double d's to give us something to look at the you might as well kiss goodbye to the majority of your subscribers. i think i'll be holding out for my weekly fix of Top Gear from now on......

like people have said already, the ONLY reason why FLD had so many viewers is because of DD. Without him, you guys are just like any other car show/magazine. Why choose you over them? In fact, without DD, it's worse than motortrend, etc... I'm back to TheSmokingTire.

Derek D. made the show what it was I'll no longer watch FLD if hes not the host maybe Jay Leno will host the new show then he can get the NBC execs to subscribe. They'll probably be the only ones watching by then.

Derek D is no longer the host of FLD. If the owners/managers of the new FLD are reading these comments, you've made a poor business decision. I have already unsubscribed from FLD on my iTunes account, and no longer interested in your programming. I can get this kind of auto industry news just about anywhere. What consumers want is something intertaining, capitivating, and fresh. Just like the old slogan - 'fresh every day'. You've been back on 2 days, and your far deeper than stale and moldy at this point. Good luck to you though.
