Before the show was funny and entertaining with all the information a carphiliac needed - now it is sadly turned into a bad joke. I'm not crying here because of Derek just for the show itself. Miserable FAIL.

Keep the internal politics and personal chit chat out of the show. We don't care. We just want car news. Derek D was a pretty average host - if he's not back it won't be a bad thing. Just keep the auto news coming daily, leave out the in-jokes and off-camera commentary (makes the show look cheap), and keep to the topic of car news. At least this Alex Roy guy sounds like he knows something about the car industry.

It looks like our comments are finally being taken on board by the management. Thank you, just let's not dodge around the DD issue. Please tell us straight if he's going to come back to host the show and when. Agreed today's show was better than the last three shows as there was a human touch and a better connection with the viewer, but most of us (including me) who take time to express our comments here and elsewhere still want Derek D back.

Mini's are cool. But the Clubman is front wheel drive, and still very good in the snow. A friend of a friend has one and had no problems. I'm sure you can buy a roof kit to mount your equipment. Diesel Hybrid? In 20 years? Probably not. You're always going to pay a bit more for diesel, and the hybrid technology hasn't come down in price...much. I'd say petro in 20 years, but with better technology and more fuel efficient. If 'every car out there' were a piece of art, it would be more expensive come repair time. Not cost effective, not going to happen. I'm sorry, but Alex Roy may have a lot on his resume', but still has a lot to learn about cars.

A mic for both people would be nice.

Sounds like DD is gone. He kept avoiding the question. I watched another Car show and they did a segment on how Derek D is gone. They quoted Derek saying that he did not choose to leave. So obviously he was forced out. This show is lame without Derek D.

It would seem that todays episode cleared up the question about "Everybody being fired" I think the fact that they just moved into a new work space is a clear indication that they are moving forward, not moving out. Sometime in the last few days, in the comments section, someone had made reference to the owners of this site having the IP addresses of everybody that visits here... that is absolutely true. Making a very point. Even with all the haters, and all the people promising never to return unless they return to the old format and all the people who will stop making comments because they "Promised" they were leaving lol, the website does in fact have all of our IP addresses and FLD knows we were here today (even if you didn't comment lol) and how many time we visited each day. I can guarantee what ever FLD have decided to do, was not on a whim. They obviously took into account how many rage-o-holics they might lose. Perhaps that is part of the game plan.
