Shakedown 2010 Kick OFF - 1/22/2010

One of my favs Leo! Nice to see you back!!!!

You know I wouldn't call Derek D a great host, in fact he is a bit of a tool on the show. HOWEVER, the pre 2010 format was much, Much MUCH more entertaining. Never like the FLDetours segment (bit armature), Love Leo and Shakedown.

looks like FLD is still worth watching at least on fridays. good to see you back in 2010 Leo. awesome work as usual.

Leo great show. Kimi is on the "No responsibilities" part of the Citroen team, who is going to be his Navi? Don't they already have a bunch of good junior team drivers, Petter S. ect? BTW is he getting paid to drive or is he bring big sponsor money in? F1 has gotten better the last few years, with the new back marker teams and reshuffle of top drivers it should be an interesting year. Can't wait to see the new cars. Moto GP rocks!! Reletively open rules, bangers vs screamers engine development, one make tires (but alteast allowed to mix the compounds). This is where F1 was 20+ yrs ago. I just wish we had better US coverage of the races.

Idiots the show isnt about Derek, its about cars!!!! I think its a good move it was getting way too self indulgent. Lets get back to the stuff that matters. FLD still rocks!

Who the hell thought getting rid of Derek D was a good idea? They had something that worked, now they just have SOMETHING. The internet is is lousy with people with bad ideas.

Leo glad to see they still kept you.. and i actually used to look forward to FLD but now im just watching to see if DD is going to host again. FAIL

So does that mean that US-F1 is partly financed by the U.S. Government?... I believe Raikkonen is only in the ( J-WRC ) to hone his driving skills so he could move quickly to ( S-WRC cup S2000 ) which will be the main event where Loeb, Hirvonen and others are competing.. will be a great rally this year, we get to see new cars like Ford Fiesta, Citroen DS3, Skoda Fabia, Proton Satria Neo, Opel Corsa, Fiat Abarth Punto and Peugeot 207.

Leo you were great as usual, but I am so pissed off at how NNN has handled Derek D that I can't bring myself to watch again until they bring him back. There may be some good reasons why FLD made a change but they didn't communicate them to their very passionate audience and they also clearly treated Derek badly for no apparent reason. Despite that, the guy has comported himself as a gentleman. Whoever is in charge at NNN is giving a master class on how not to do things. DD was the heart and soul of the show. Bring him back. If you can't the person responsible for terminating him needs to address the audience and explain what happened, Anything less and NNN will lose its FLD audience.

Leo - you are an awesome home. you've gotten like 139847398472947 times better than before. U ROCK!

Lovely shakedown. Im glad that its on fridays now. A nice end of the week treat. Leo should definitely host FLD. OR better yet, must rename the show, SHAKEDOWN. Shakedowns everyday! =D. Nascar sucks.

It's great to see you back Leo! Thank you so much. The show is still missing something though. The wonderful thing about the internet is that not everything has to be uniform don't let FLD loose it's edge I shouldn't be thinking of that song "Little Boxes" while watching the show. Embrace the people that love cars and you'll have a great show! Bringing Leo back is a great start, don't let it stop there. I'll be back mid week to check back but wont be increasing the number of hits to your site or resubscribing till I see more positive changes. Keep up the good work! Derek still miss you man I hope you find a show of your own!

Hey Leo, good to see you. You, at least, have valid opinions and commentary, as well as intelligent and pithy humor, unlike a certain other sophomoric host who drives a family sedan. Tell you what, NextNew, why don't you have Leo host the whole show, but be sure to give him a big raise? It would certainly Class the site up. Just an idea... By the way, where does one find these supposedly new episodes of Garage 419? Not under the Garage 419 tab, apparently.

Leo, you are talking a little too slow for your original fans. You can rewind if you miss something the first time. Fast information when your boss is not looking is the idea (this is not TV). There needs to be at least one topic that you look back on. You are always able to put a unexpected spin on things that have happened. Still a good Shakedown.

Obviously it seems some big suits,investors and so called smart people is changing stuff up a FLD, here we go again, another great thing to be ruined by a bunch of deep pocket idiots. Look when something works its not because of what THEY think, its because of what already exist. your best presentors Dereck D, and Leo. If money is the issue, (and it always is) wisen up, pay whats due. DD has single made this show watchable, Leo is the icing on the cake. D is the heart L is the soul.
