What is not to like! the point of view is very well delivered! The analogy is excellent! What are youguys looking for? I like it, alot. I could watch that kind of info (point of view) all day!maybe some new car stuff, new technologies, new tires, new cars coming up, car show update ! wouldn't hurt! Yes, I do look at rock and drill oil wells all the time! I watch on it even on wellsites! Either way! I'll always watch it! This is my opinion! I don't know about everyone else, but I work and I am very busy! So quality and intelligent content is foremost important for me! I don't particularly like fart jokes and comedy shows in my car show! So! I still feel like this is more grown up and serious format! I have the feeling I am watching a show made not by a guy that is still driving his first car!I think I am getting old, but one thing I know !! I love cars and I own some really awesome ones too! You'll never please everybody!

Ironically this episode was against automation? Bring back the character to this show. We used to have fun hosts: Carrie, Alex, Derek. Now we have a John Davis (Motorweek) wannabe. Shut it down now! Motorweek does droll and bland better.

That was the most retarded episode ever...You can tell this was written by a writer and not an engineer. I drive an E30 and I don't try to drift every corner I see. Traction control is there to save retards that would have lost their cars on a turn.

Wow you guy's cant be serious about this being the new fast lane daily. This completely ruins the reason why we became members in the first place. We loved the fact that it was car lovers than got in front of a camera, constantly updated us on car news, had a loosely written script, tossed the script out the window and critiqued with entertaining honesty just like car fans and enthusiasts out in the real world would do. I honestly feel like this isn't even an online show anymore. For lack of better words, this looks like a tv show with outdated ways of thinking towards entertainment and the FCC's stick of authority up its ass. I urge you all to take on this episode's advice and go back to the basics of why this was done in the first place before it ends up just another status quo cliche that people cannot uniquely appreciate.

Look JF, I know you're trying to mix things up a bit, I get that, so I'll refrain from the usual bitching everyone else is spewing. The simple fact is this, FLD was created, and gained it's significant fan base, from it's normal format. The sheer quantity of comments you're receiving should be some indication as to the success of your experiment. Even if you don't want to bring Derek back, for whatever reason, the show has had many different hosts and should remain hosted. As it stands, I have already unsubscribed on iTunes and only check this site to see if you've come to your senses. Please listen to reason, not to appease the disgruntled fan-boi's, but to keep a really good thing going (before no one's left).

I've been watching this show for a little over two years and have really tried to give this new design a try. That being said THIS EPISODE WAS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. The lack of a host and completely drone narrative is a huge turnoff to the show. One of the best parts of FLD was involvement with the internet community, so why not listen to all of your viewers and breathe some M F'ing life back into the show. You've got my subscription until the end of the week, if this boring, poor excuse for the entertainment that FLD once provided remains the same on Monday Feb. 1st I will be deleting you from my bookmarks and subscriptions on youtube. I know others out there feel the same way.

Forget the hosted version of FLD! This is how i want to get my Car News.. The Voice is awesome! Very pro! This is the best FLD so far! Anyone that disagree! Well, grow up! Unbelievable! The producers need to listen to the narration for their show..."back to basics"....they (the producers) have added traction control,abs,anti drift etc....WRONG! Go back to basics(Derek D...no offense Derek) This was more lame than the last show.And,...the producers haven't got the guts to actually talk to the fans(whatever is left of them) to really explain why they have RAPED...yes RAPED the FLD show of it's unique gritty character, much like the cars this episode was talking about that we should be driving. Me too will give this show a few more shows to get back to basics otherwise it's "Astalavista BABY"!

Please, for the love of all that is entertainment... bring back Derek D. This was well written, I'll give it that... but 100% not what I'v subscribed to FLD for so long for. The audience has been alienated, and the only way to be heard is to stop watching. My plan is to return on Feb 5 (and keep watching Derek D's Twitter feed for some good news). If this show doesn't have that nervous plucky kid acting like an ass and letting me know what's going on in the car world... I'll have to tap out on a show I've loved for so long. For now, unsubscribed...

FLD just went Craptastic! Whoever is in charge, I will NOT be back. That is a real bummer to me. I really enjoyed FLD and watched every day! Professional? I call this homogonized beyond acceptance! FLD with Derek D was a little amatuer hour at times with off screen interaction, but at least it didn't put me to sleep! This program, although well said, has become something else and has alienated the viewers. I don't come to this site to hear some mundane editorial garbage. This is laid out like some kind of lame documentary on the Discovery channel. These past few weeks have ruined my lunch breaks. I get it, you want to be more professional.
