not much on the rebadge thing.  Kinda like ford and mercury can't they just make one badge and sell the vehicle cheaper?  Pontiac,audi,volkswagon,skoda,porsche,chevrolet,gmc,toyota,lexus, and a few other all do this or did.  They should just change the name.

Or a Ferrari-badged Fiat 500?
Or a Lamborghini-badged VW Golf?

So maybe the comparisons aren't *quite* as accurate, but I think having your brands sorted out right is important. *cough cough GM cough cough*

* OK, A2 is a very expensive shoebox {my 2 cents} Im simply not prepared to pay an exponential premium just for a marketing brand name. Saw the price of a loaded VW Polo + u better have health insurance. Even a Skoda Yeti can set u back  K!!! ~ What about the New Corvette Carbon??? Yes we appreciate the Transit has value [at an Insomniacs Convention ;] Im guessing it must be way easier for a manufacturer to bypass regulations using a commercial platform. They always seem to cite extraordinary costs for homologation, emissions, crash testing, safety standards, etc. With all the expenses involved, they may as well just make a separate new vehicle. What a great place the world would be if we could all agree on which side of the road to drive on, let alone safety + emission standards as well. Posluszny is a serial killer? Why would BMW design a car based on a car you already sell and make money on.  You are going to be competing against your own sales here.  You would think car companies would learn something from the dumb American Brand GM.  Look where they are and look where BMW is right now.  Does BMW want to be the next GM.  Drop the BMW .5 Series.

wow another GT5 video, it looks pretty, but after like 5 yrs how much millions of dollars they are still just making pretty videos. Now for the small car movement, i hope it trickle down to the american markets so we will have to lose some weight if we want new cars and what about a small car class at le mans or american le mans now that would settle the score.Forza fa life

the reason you by a PREMIUM european sedan it is PREMIUM!!!!  you dont see them every day because they are PREMIUM!  they make you put PREMIUM in the tank!  PREMIUM IS NOT FWD! getting a fwd audi is like dating a Swedish chick that has black hair, and  building a fwd bmw is like shooting yourself in the face.
