So the new Explorer is a Land Rover? Land Rover has a profoundly similar terrain system called "Terrain Response" and a lot of the styling and features seem the dame. Naming aside I don't have a problem with this SUV considering 99% of SUVs never go offroading. Also, despite not having the V8 the specs aren't bad. 290hp for the v6 vs 292 of the 2010 v8 although Torque does suffer 255lbs/ft vs the 2010 model's 315.

Explorer seems to share some styling cues with the Range Rover and Range Rover Evoque !

not audi's first 4 door coupe, you've forgotten the A5 sportback which isn't sold on these shores.

POS - they've gone and bastardized the Explorer name. It's now based on a CAR frame, with an I-4 (!!!) rather than a V8, and it no longer has 4WD.....it's simply AWD. What a load. They need to rename it to 'City Explorer', as there's no real off-road capability lurking here.
