You forgot the mention that you and your oldass conservative, Bush loving, right wingers caused the f'n problem in the first place.  At least with better roads I will be able to get around your traffic causing, Buick driving, Glen Beck listening, Fox news watching narrow minded ass.

SuperChild you need to step back and look at what is happening.  It has not been a one party sided affair of causing this horrible assault on our country.  So to blame the conservatives shows how naive you are in this matter.  Yes, the right wing has caused the problem but the left wing has caused the same amount of issues in the country with our crappy economy.  Sorry if you are gonna bring Beck into all of this you should atleast listen to what he talks about, and then you will see what I am talking about.

Maybe instead of Obama spending 50 billion of new borrowed money that my kids, kids will be paying back (whenever I have kids) and actually use the money from his first huge stimulus that hasn't resulted in anything.  That isn't even done being used and what was his major push in the first one.  Umm, oh yeah roads and infrastructure.  Its just gonna be another waste of money till they capsize our economy.  By the way light rail is not going to change our country, when I can drive to the same city that takes 4 hours by light rail and only takes 2.5 hours by car.  I am gonna choose a car over it any day and so will the rest of the drivers.

So I hope you actually grow up and read or at least challenge what you hear from the media instead of taking it as fact.  By the way I am not old, I am 25 so you don't call me a Buick driving and going off on some tirade to prop yourself up.

You listen to and like Beck and you want to tell me to challenge what I hear and read from the media?  Get a grip, you may not be old according to you Drivers liscence but your right winged, narrow minded thinking completely betrays you on that front.  I certainly don't swing from Obama's nuts, he has made some questionable calls, but he at very least he can put a proper sentence together.  Unlike, for example, yourself or Bush.

Neither of these arguments points to the actual issue.  The infrastructure in the US is among the worst of developed nations.  Waiting until failures happen to take action will cost far, far more than to be proactive, and there have been many examples in recent times of the failing infrastructure (gas pipeline in San Bruno, overpasses, the bay bridge in SF etc....).
