SHAKEDOWN Swims - Motorsports Recap

I used to watch FLD everyday a new episode came out.  But I think the company that is running this show is trying to kill it entirely.  I know it's hard work to keep up with 5 days of material, and the funding to keep it going.  I get that.  But cutting down the shows to 2 or 3 shows of car news isn't 'fresh' anymore.  I don't get why Thursday's show is still on.  I stopped watching on Thursdays because it was too annoying to listen to Alex keep interrupting JF.  If FLD wants to keep gaining viewers, please please please go back to the format from 2 or 3 years ago.  I stopped viewing the Friday's episode after 30 seconds.

That Ferrari ad is comically bad......too bad.

Ok a few opinions on this episode.

1. Modern ground effects + turbocharged V6s in F1 = awesome.
2. America truly has no taste in car commercials, and needs to stop only following NASCRAP.
3. DEFINITELY bring back the banking at Monza!

As much as I would love to have more exciting car ads in the US, The sad fact is production based auto racing is not as big a commercial sport as it is in Europe or Japan. It's very hard to convince people that you built not only a reliable and well appointed car but also a fast and race winning, and then buy said car, when the wider audience is not aware of that car racing and winning.

But if racing and the marketing of racing in the US was much more like that in Europe, it would be so much easier to sell hot cars here. This is the tragedy of the general decline of auto racing in the US. I miss Trans-Am... the racing series and the car.

I like shakedown. In fact, I'd rather have shakedown everyday if I could. Leo's awesome.

This show used to have a very good simple recipe that worked
really well. Informative Auto News+Funny DD+Cute Girls=FLD
And now? What happened? As faithful, loyal viewers, we 
deserve an explanation?
