back in the day people used to strap two superchargers back to back on their motors, and the novitec rosso kits use superchargers for each side of the V. I know it's not as impressive as the twin turbo/S/c Kit but its not unheard of. still batshit crazy. i wanna see that thing, tell him to drive by my house in smithtown, LI. lol

Whoah. Turbocharged and Supercharged at the same time????? Ive never heard of any car running that configuration, ever. That is crazy....you should come up with a term for it.

My friend Dave from Long Island has the newest Heffner kit on his car, and it's got the twin turbo AND supercharger on it. 1300 hp, and no lag because of the supercharger.

thanks for the heads up on the MK's. heffner makes a sweet twin turbo kit for the GT as well. hmmmmm 1000hp sounds good to me.

i was thinking about making my own delete kit for customers. it would be pretty easy if they bought a new exhaust. do you have any info as to who makes the one on Camilo's car, which by the way, if I had a GT it would be with the Gulf paint scheme. on a side note, there is a collector here that has an original GT40, of which MK I don't know, but what he said is true about those guys having balls of steel going down Mulsanne at 200+. the fit and finish is way worse and safety was definetly not a priority for the makers and racers. I do know it is not a kit car as the collector also just took delivery of his Veyron.

I am the shop foreman at a Ford store and I have had 3 of these in in the last year for an open recall on the bolts for the axle shafts. This is an amazing opportunity to take a very close up look at the structure of the car. It's truly an amazing piece of American design. The chassis is very Ferrari-like in its construction and the engine is a work of art. It is also seriously de-tuned in stock form, as it makes just a few ponies more than the Shelby GT-500 and it has 16 injectors instead of 8. This car is deserving of it's supercar title even though a new ZR1 gives it a serious run for the money. Matt, I have commented before about my weird love for American V8's and this car solidifies it. If you ever get a chance to take all the under chassis plates off the GT, it's a work of art. The only thing lacking is the fit of the rear hatch panels on every one I have worked on, the gap varies all over the place. Also I would remove the rear bumper. Great car, cool vid. thanks Matt

No, the car was designed here in the US, mainly by Ford, but with help from Roush (engine), Saleen (manufacturing), and Lotus (suspension tuning).

I mean i never post b/c i like to watch and not talk trash but some things just awe struck me. The guys knowledge on cars was probably misrepresented by the fact that he was drunk, but artistically he's fantastic. If not for the GT his, painting abilities are ridiculous. And for Carbon Fibre: First of all, having an artist free-hand art on the back of your polo shirt (making it pricelss) is not a waste of time, what is a waste of time is insulting the host by saying some dum-sh*t statement like "where are the hot chicks??". Blow me. Matt is intelligent, and of the three shows, FLD, VodCars, And G419, i have to say he is one of the most knowledgeable in automotive/racing history, design, and he brings qualities and enthusiasm everyone enjoys. Knowledge isn't just based on degrees, and coming from someone in the science field, i have a HUGE appreciation for anyone talented artistically. This episode was RIDICULOUSLY good, and i hope to see more. Who would of thought that a car of the GT's Caliber was created by such a forward thinking (and sick driver) as Camilo Pardo!

I love the Ford GT, it's everyhting good in a car. It's fast as hell, and at the same time civilised and you can use it everyday.... if it doesn't break down all the time like Jeremy Clarkson's did lol.

Wow great show!!! This episode was great Camillo is a genious!!! His appartment is great you really recognize that there lives an artist!!! btw. Matt just ignore so lame comments like the one from Carbon Fibre. I think these are people who are really jealous at successful people and they don't love their lives!! And we don't want any other host!!!

I loved that guys pad, reminds me of the art studio a few of us rented back in university. I miss that type of space to do work in. And yes, comment on the NOPI…I watch that up here in Canada, what a shame! I wonder how many people are going to be affected by this job wise, tires, parts all the way to concessions, advertising and NOPI girls…how will they pay for their college now!!!

Comilo Pardon is great artist. I'd would like to see some of his pictures in a auto museum some day. Matt should frame that shirt.

looking at the roof line you guys walked around a gt40 not a gt, you can tell by looking where the door meets the roof. in the gt the door and the roof are separate but in the the 40 the door is a part of the roof and the scoops in the hood.

It is a beautiful car and it was refreshing to hear him give credit, so often, to the other people involved. It is rare that someone as talented as Camilo does that. So how was the rest of the rave?
