I don't think it's as much as id="comment_list" Million per car, but the Veyron is definitely what you'd call a "loss leader." In terms of a per-car basis, it costs them about 0k to build each one, but when you factor in all the time, tooling, and engineering that went into designing the car, they will never really break even on it. 

After we filmed the episode, 3 more Veyron's pulled up and there were 7 in one place! Talk about jaded....

I heard that it was more than id="comment_list" million, it was on Top Gear that it cost them the equivalent of £5 million pounds stirling. which is amazing considering that there are so many. They built 300 of the normal ones and are going to build 150 of the Grand Sport ones.

this video was the same as the last one. same shots with some new video in it. what a waste of a show.

we put out 6 shows in 6 days... it's not like every person is going to watch every video, so we put this out as a compilation  of shots from all 6 episodes. i'm sorry it wasn't to your approval, but to call it crap is a bit harsh don't you think?

It would be very hard to pick one.... the old Motorama Firebird concepts are really really cool. I had seen them in books many times but never thought I'd have the chance to actually see them in person. The Flat Orange Lancia Stratos was so bright that on a sunny day it could cast be used as an alternative energy source....

But the coolest thing is like, when you're out there, its like living in a town where people only drive exotics... For one weekend a year, every store, restaurant, parking garage, has at least  million worth of exotics in it. Very surreal.
