Good Episode, Matt. I got a chance to see more of the Goodyear blip at the EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, WI a month ago. Didn't get chance to ride in it. Matt should feel so lucky. Even seen it fly over my place of work.  And they really shouldn't hate on your burnout. 

I use to have a set of kumo's on my car, they were really terrible like on the white bmw. Could've gotten Goodyears summertires, but BFG KDW's were on sale with a  shell gas card.

This episode made me smile, it was really fun. Good job guys!

I actually was wondering if the tires were that grippy, the car seem to have trouble spinning the tires while it was turning. I would like to have seen a lesser tire on that car doing the same burn out. I would be willing to bet the reason your burn out was not full of smoke in the air and rubber on the ground, was due to the quality of those new generation of tires?

I have seen you do a burn out in the mustangs, so I know you know what your are doing…do you think those tires were to good for the hp level of that car?

Is the new tyre for the whole year? Because the performance of tyres for each season is much better than the performance of an all season tyre. I don't wanna have an All Season tyre in the snow or on ice... the rubber mixture is not soft enough and in the summer it's too soft...

But it was a cool idea to test the tyres with dsc off. Keep up your good work.

The blimp well... I don't like to fly...

The blimp is more Matt's speed, I think.  Matt: the proper burnout procedure is: turn wheel to lock, bouncer tach off rev limiter, don't bother with counter steeering.  LOL  Looks like you had fun, buddy!  Trivia question: who is filled with more hot air?  Matt or the blimp?  hehehehe 

Matt, I think you should do episodes in a helmet from now on, you look pretty cool with a helmet on!

Man, work on those burnout skills...

the Blimp was a cool bit and all, but why use up half the episode on it when you could have talked more about the new tire? Maybe even show it and have a Goodyear rep talk about the improvements???

Taking off the DTC/DSC was a dummy move...  You obviously do not know how to drive a BMW without the safety controls active.  

Oh man, you sucked on the H2000 too.  You should drive cars with their safety features on...

Side note:  Not everyone wants a E92 CSL...  Haven't you notice the market for racer boys is getting smaller?  Here in America, they are not buying BMWs, Audis, or Mercedes to satisfy their taste for power-to-weight-to-cost.

What they are buying are the Mitsu, Honda, Lotus, Nissan, VW and any other cheaper-lighter weight machinery to get their thrills...  No dis' to the racer boys or owners of current machinery but the BMW, Mercedes, and Audis of late do not cut it anymore...  Don't get me wrong, I own an M5 (E60), M3 (E92) and a 750Li (E66), so I am not hatin'.  

What I would love to see is some of these folks ride the ToD! (Tail of the Dragon), I'll be there again this fall with my M3; (Snickering)....

why do you guys keep going on about driving q slow car fast so you can feel the limits of the slow car, i'd rather drive a fast car slow so i can feel the limits of my bed. i like the blimp but i dont think it would be easy to get laid in it.

mustve been a nice experience to compare 3 different tires in equal situations. wouldve loved to hear your in-car commentary for the other 2 tire runs as well.
