Time to Invest in CRX's and GTI's? -Garage419

I have this feeling that...after a few years...and after some significant growth of NNN/FLD/G419...I think that this is going to be a collector vehicle with a lot of notoriety:

Cmon...tell me im wrong! DD...if you guys keep kicking butt and growing over the years...you better keep that Cobalt LTZ of yours "preservation class"...except from you signing the dash and inside trunklid! Im serious! Wait a year or two...and then put it up on eBay. Or keep it even longer, and after a number of years you'll be able to show the DD Cobalt at Pebble Beach!

Im Serious! Just save a used tire for me or something. Sign it with a paint marker or somehting and fedex it to me. Or get your steerng wheel replaced and send me the original...with your signature on the 11 and 1 postiions! LOL! thats awesome! Im serious! DD dont miss out on the opportunity to capitalize on the collector value of the one and only DD Cobalt LTZ.

CRX? Why go for the imposter? The Mk1 GTi is the original pocket rocket and will be worth much more than the CRX - which came out about 11 years after the Mk 1 Golf (Rabbit).

And I also think that the price for GTI mach1 will increase.
But the problem here in Germany is that there are so many destroyed by stupid tuning.

I don't see the CRX ever commanding big money (over K) in the next 20 years. But it would be fun to drive in the meantime....if you say CRX, why not Mazda MX3, the smallest displacement 6 cylinder produced (does that claim to fame still stand today?) Japanese collector cars, I would say 1st gen RX7 and the Acura NSX, eventually the Honda S2000.....I would say Supra, but try and find one that has not been modded. On the American side, I would say Mustang SVO, 1993 Mustang Cobra R. 1st Gen GTI? I would have thought Scirocco or Corrado. BTW the Eurovan has done a very good job of retaining value.

i'm just glad a real collector has said what i believed all along the crx is an icon. that deserve's respect when done right, to bad we have all these idiot's driving them and killing the rep. god i can't wait for these kids to leave hondas alone, and i can drive mine in peace.
