How much does it cost to fully charge the Volt? Everyone talks about not having to spend money on gas but electricity is not free. It would be nice to know how much it costs to charge and then calculate the cost per mile or something like that.

Mr Angry's Daytona looks absolutely badass in that charcoal gray primer. I love the concept of his company and what they do (taking classics and making them more streetable/maintainable). Id love to be a client of his sometime. Does it have to be Mopar? How about a mid 60's Stingray?

Hey guys good to see another great episode! Mr. Farah I know the big question is about the volt this week but I have a comment about that lambo damn!! I remember the diablo SV and that thing was Badass!! so i have high hopes for the LP640 SV. I was also wondering Does Mr.Angry Inc, also improve engine power and torque and redo the front end geometry? any answers would be appreciated keep up the great work. thanks!

Chevy should offer a diesel Volt, simply because a diesel engine would serve as a more efficient generator.

I am not a fan of the Volts silhouette closeness to the prius but it is what it is. In the interior is were my requirements come in. I would like this thing to have some room in it! Chevy dont feel like you have to bury people in the dash cut everything back you can out of the cabin to make room for the people that are supposed to be in there. I have had to walk away from buying quite a few gm products because the dash hit me in the knee or the center console pinned me into the steering wheel. Make room!

I think that for a person like myself that drives 15 miles one way to work each day it would pay off. I own a Tahoe and cannot drive it to work because the fuel cost alone is not worth it. If they are going to make a car like this and make it for the mass market there will have to be one for people like me that will only drive to and from work. Meaning stripped no nav no leather none of that. And one for peole that want to make this the family car. If they can make that happen it may be worth it to me to own one just for fuel savings alone.

I hope GM was clever enough to built solar panels into the roof like Audi does this with their A6 and A8 which you can buy with solarpanel sunroof. But the solar panel for the Volt must charge the batteries so when I park it outside at my work it must reload them so it would be a real good allday car. There are other cars for the weekend;-)

I want to know what new technology they are going to use to preserve the fuel in the tank that i will apparently never use, just incase i do.

yeah, the EV went 80 miles and was intirely electric. and smoked a n/a 300zx (or was it a 240sx?). get rid of the gas engine. you know they can. volt does look alot better though

So, GM has produced a nicer looking EV that has HALF the range of its late 90's predecessor. BULL SHIT ON THAT. This is nothing but a nice looking golf cart with a price near 30k. They just might as well paint "buy a prius America!" on the side of the car.

i would like to see a chevy volt SS, drop 500 pounds, non- essentials like AC, power everything, radio, and gas engine, + add a little more battery power and a bigger electric engine :)

hey matt what i think gm shold do with the volt is make one for ca guys that like speed like if they take the cobalt ss engine and put it in it and make it beave to go fast like the hybrid but better like i can go to the track with it all hooked to get like 500hp or more awd and at the same time i can run it on the electronics motor 40miles just on batter but if i have to run it on gas it well still be okay on gas with the tubro on low bost u get what i mean man if u do plz e-mail me at airforceplayer90@aim.com i want to know what u think matt for relly do u think that a good idea yes or no???

Now in Maine a real question for us is how is it in the cold. Does the mileage on battery decline faster, or take longer to charge. Im not talking 30-40 degrees but -10's and that range.

the volt needs something else to charge the batteries like solar power, and if GM is thinking in taking the volt to OPEL to Europe they should make a smaller, cheaper model, because here in Europe we want that stuff :D

Hey Matt i would like to see them make a car that is very inexpensive. Yeah I dont care about nav systems of high end electronics. I would just like to see an inexpensive volt that will give me the hybrid tech without me paying for an exotic.
