Wonder how the Terlingua Mustang stacks up against the Steeda Mustang QS6. Steeda might handle better.

Love the Stang, but I'd be more excited if the Terlingua was based on the '09 Mustang w/ the new Ecoboost engine. Of course neither exist yet, but still. Modifying that old V-6 reminds me of too many posers with some nasty, raspy aftermarket exaust. The current car w/ a V-6 is still a secretary car in my eyes.

Great episode! Last fall we stayed at Shelby's Ranch about 40 minutes from there where he and his buddies hung out. Terlingua is an amazing place with a ton of money dumped into it. When leaving heading west to Marfa is one of the prettiest and best roads ever to drive on. Highly recomended!

Finally they are trying to make it lighter or at least what they think is lighter, but is alright I guess just the thought that went through their brain is enough. I can't wait to see the next episode. I am a sucker for a car that looks as stable as that when turning. Body roll didn't look bad from the camera view.

Awsome episode matt, and cant wait to see more. I've read alot about this car thru all of the mustang magazines and the wistangs car club. Looks better in in videos And Gary Patterson is right about the car being a easier way to go racing since most v6's go for 15,500 plus an extra eight grand for the complete shelby package is even better. As for the chili terror alert, the Mets vs philly game, the phily's fanactic caused the stadium the be evacuated when the hot dogs to be shot out of the fan cannon were thought to be sticks of tnt by the security staff. Maybe Matt, you should team up and make a chili dog bombs to make the terror level go to code red.

That rocked; great work. And I respect Shelby for putting something out based on the V6 platform. Chevy needs to follow similar principles and put out a Z28 as was being mentioned somewhere before on G419. Great Venue, great company, great car, great production, great burnout...great episode. Im happy to see alot of companies/manufacturers start to give you alot more time, access, and seat time...you guys are kickin ass. Also Matt, did you eat any Chili while you were down there? You could've brought some back for Carrie and then she would'nt have needed to rely on the crew for FX!
