I intend this as a compliment ---- The videography was reminiscent of that certain show from the BBC but with a G419 twist.

Great episode matt, like that you start with the car nose first in the water then prancing off in a full gallop. Very artistic view of photography. 

I agree with the comment above, never liked small cars for long distances including driving to milwaukee a for baseball games or to montana.  

 This was a cool vid, the Mustang (as long as it's not one from the '80s-'90s) has to be the perfect car for a cross-America trip, I know it's not that great of a car, but when ever I drive one it puts a big smile on my face(for me has to be the v8). He's totaly right about the MINI though, I start getting stiff in mine after like 30min.

The on board fuel mpg computer, no matter what manufacture, is rarely accurate. Even when you plug a scangauge into your OBD port, it's not accurate. The old fashioned way is the most accurate.

Ford Mustang sales to rental agencies, its limited. It's not the Taurus.

The police turn off their radar, or laser until they have someone in sight, than turn it on and get you. Too late for you to react.

Ford never claimed to be the first to have Panoramic roof. But they are probably the only manufacture to have it as such a low price point. A k 911 vs. a -30K Mustang? Come on you really think it's a fair comparison? BTW MB made a huge deal about the hardtop convertible SLK in 1997, yet what year did the Skyliner hardtop convertible by Ford come out? (1957)

I would have liked to see more video of the surroundings. Nonetheless, the last two shows were great.

I love road trips; it is pretty much where 50% of all my km driven come from. GT cars are the only way to do road trips; although, mine may not be the typical GT, it is more of a sport-compact...but, it is comfortable, fast and has insane hwy mileage (way better than the Stang, even when doing speeds averaging 100mph).

I concur with the above comenter regarding the fireworks thing. Yes the Mustang with the sparklys what a good shot, but I demand more for your 4000$ bucks. 
Second off all... and this is what confused me... you stated you always rock the V1 detector, but just seconds earler you showed us your speeding ticket. So what happened with your radar detector there? .... And speaking of that.. is just a good Radar Detector enough>? Should one include a Radar/Lazer Jammer , and or a Police Scaner? Id like to know your opnions on thoes topics. Thanks a Bundle... G419 Rockz!

I love your reviews and the fact that you pull no politically correct BS. I bet the guys from Motor Trend would have said they did 100mph on a CLOSED COURSE. I will admit freely that 100mph spurts are not unusual for me and I am sure that it is somewhat common place for most of us "CAR GUYS"

Glass top (been done before). LMFAO ... Ford still can't hide that hideous radio antenna and still has a rear suspension from '58. Nice hard plastic interior ... nice gaps in the pieces.
Ford sold uindreds and hundreds of thousands of Mustangs because they went to  car rental firms!!! Watch out pre-owned buyers!!!!!!!!

First, considering how you forgot your keys inside the Terlingua, I was aftrais that you may have forgot to set the parking brake on the GT for the beginning shot.

Thanks for mentioning about the Panoramic Roof and how it handles heat and the fading of the leather; I was gonna ask about that.

Valentine One? With the 4-way directional indicators? Is that thing still really the best bet? Ive seen that thing advertised in Car&Driver back in the early 80's. I thought it was the absolute coolest thing then...but is it really the best thing now? If so thats a HUGE testament to them. Could you please do an episode where you discuss various radar/laser detectors? Jammers? Maybe even interview a police officer? And an exec from one of the radar companies? Give us an idea of the state of speedtrap technology today.

And Dude, you DIDNT REALLY spend K on fireworks did you? And walk out with that small ass brown bag? And then show us a few paltry fountains? Cmon man, blow up some fucking Cacti or something.

Valentine One -except no substitutes. The new Passport has some cool features that I wish the V1 had, but I have owned 'em all and not one even comes close to being as good as a Valentine. It has saved my ass a thousand times.
