If you are a car enthusiast then you of all people should know it's got nothing to do with the drivers, schumacher was as good as his car, same with button in the brawn.

Matt -- my pet peeve -- please don't say KERS system. KERS stands for Kinetic Energy Recovery System, so its like saying Kinetic Energy Recovery System System. You'll start hearing people say PIN Number too. (Personal Identification Number Number).

Uhm, Matt please don't do an interview show next to a go-cart racing circuit again. I see Leo was nearly bursting a vein in his neck to get his voice heard above the noise. :-D

also i'd just like to add - the Brawn GP team didn't really 'come out of nowhere'. People need to remember this - it was previously known as the Honda team. In 2008 Honda GP team invested more into F1 than any other team. They have some of the best resources. They abandoned developmenet of the 2008 car VERY early in the season last year, and started work on the 09 car much earlier than any other team. why are people surprised they are doing well?

At the end of 2006, Schumacher left. Ross Brawn left. Paulo Martinelli, the engine guy left. thats basically why they've been going backwards ever since.

I'm just really excited the a new F1 circus is developing, the drama catching up, McLaren's issues, Ferrari's failures at track, and Brawn GP crushing everyone, it's like a real life movie. Nice show by the way, I just discovered u guys today.

First off great job on the space balls quote, I hope to see more of that. Leo you freaking rock man. I'm not big into F1 but honestly I'd like to see something about tuning my car. Just the basics not big power just, you know, simple stuff. Brakes, suspension, engine, you know. Thanks, btw how can I get a G419 shirt or sticker or something??

F1 has now more back story with the manufactures on the cars, talent, and owners. I do watch a little on speed tv, but Im still a nascar fan. And it's the same kind of story with nascar and F1. Driver talent, engine failures, sponserships, Big three backing the teams in this economy.

An F1 fan at last! I maintain that if you want to watch an F1 race, you should really torrent the BBC Broadcast, it has to be 30 times better than the Speed TV program. So far its been nothing but Brawn GP, and if the diffusers are deemed legal today (as they should be), the other teams will be at work making their own versions, which should bring the bigger names [Ferrari, McClaren] back up to the top, but we will see. Brawn GP FTW!

F1 is getting better for sure.

good to see smaller teams doing well... and even better to see Ferrari and Renault loosing also in the first half of the show you needed to do something a bought your volume and the noise of the carts behind you.

This F1 season is ridiculously disappointing. Changing the rules yet again is making the sport inconsistent. It's a nice idea to make the cars run closer and cheaper by dictating no barge boards or shark gills, but that's what makes Formula 1...well...Formula 1. How can you say the sport is the pinnacle of motorsport design if you restrict design and innovation? I understand that there is a huge push to decrease budgets and make smaller teams more competitive, but why take away from the sport to make that happen? Australia may have been decided by drawing straws for the way that the winning order was decided in the post-race days. Brawn is clearly at an advantage with their uber-diffuser, but I am going out on a limb here...but I think that diffuser will be ruled illegal today at the FIA hearing in Paris. I don't understand how Button, who's about as consistent as a politician telling the truth, is simply walking away from World-Class drivers lap after lap after lap. I think something is up with the Brawn team...but that's just me. If they're proven legal, then I'll be happy to admit they're fast. F1 is not having a good year. Last year's cars were great. Add slicks and KERS to those, and this season would have been great. Change the rules yet again (it'll happen again at the end of this season, just wait) and the sport will continue to have problems.

I think that F1 is making a come back as a dramatic sport... or so I hope. You cant help but support the underdog, who in fact is a really good driver, and yet at the beginning of the year he was out of a team, and a chance really; yet a couple of weeks later he won his 2nd Grand Prix. That goes to show how in F1 a great team and a great driver can beat a huge budget

The racing in F1 definitely has gotten better but the cars are so damn ugly it makes me want to vomit everytime I see them. I am glad to see Brawn GP doing well and making Honda look like morons for leaving. Also, where were the other competitors Matt? Seemed like you were the only person driving
