Amazing episode, your use of cinematography, editing and music really convey the emotion of the driving experience. What song is that with the piano in it? The production value of your videos is top notch and close to rivaling Top Gear.

Amazing vid, I love the car, the scenary, the road and everything else that goes with all that stuff. But why wouldn't you choose a M3 Convertible? Yeah i know it's more expensive but think about that noise of a V8 with the roof down on a road like that absolutely gunning it. HEAVEN!!! I think i need to move......... QUICK!!

I love the shots. Though the focal point was more on the road than the car which blurs the subject the audience is suppose to focus on. The music was a bit overpowering when Matt was speaking in the car (mute it a little?). The show did capture California's glow and allure on PCH though. Great job.

not a big fan of the car little to pricey for a 3 series. but very good filming i liked the camera angles.

Great episode, love the videotography. Very impressed you had chose a manual as we know manual is for the purest! In 2005 I cycled the PCH from San Fran to San Diego the road is has every thing it is the best road in the world. However, when you are cycling there are some very steep and long hills! Love drive it in a M3 or a porsche 997 convertible.

You guys should check out the Blue Ridge Parkway for an episode. That hardtop looks like a transformer heh. I bet if you chipped+upgraded the exhaust that car would really haul ass. Would love to see your episodes in HD. Good job guys.

Beautiful Episode. Great car (even though its not american), beautiful scenery and excellent commentary. If only we had roads like that in SE Michigan. Hell at this point I'd settle for the elimination of orange barrels. My next vacation to cali im driving, Solely for that purpose and the canyon roads there. (hint hint at a future episode?)

'27 years of life I have not been here yet' - Where did you go to grade school? Your English teacher would have a coronary. Can you not make one simple proper grammatically correct sentence? ~ What would we like to see? Attn: Mr.Morningstar, DELETE first 2.5 minutes + last 2.5 minutes of NOTHING. DELETE piano, its terribly distracting & unnecessary. While you're at it, delete the whole program since there was really very little substance anyway. All we heard was how nice it was to drive with the top down on a sunny day. Like Forest Gump couldn't figure that out on his own. And all those great show comments are obviously on the NNN payroll.

Matt & the crew @ Garage 419, you guys all know it... best episode yet! Every show you get a little bit closer to the Top Gear benchmark... but i won't be expecting a test track or a Stig any time soon. Matt good choice on the perfect car to take on that road... some would argue something silly like a Zonda F Roadster... but power that your comfortable using, and a ride that lets you enjoy the view... Good Choice and Well Done

Awsome episode...dude i would love to see a show kinda like back to basics where you guys would compare discontinued models to models that took their place and say what has gotten better and what became worse, but with cool models like the older gtr to the new one ..u know

You all should be patting yourselves on the back. Best episode yet with a test car. Nice camara angles, got to hear the engine and watch Matt drive it on public roads. The music in the background was a great complement to the segment. But, being a car guy, I'd like to have reported the performance numbers. Sit in the back and demonstrate how livable the space is back there, the size of the trunk...that sorta thing. As well as a spirited drive on an old runway or closed off road so we can see how the car handles and brakes in say an emergency situation.

Great episode - brings back some memories. I spent my holiday in 2002 on a road trip from the south to the north of California, with a few diversions, but the drive up the Pacific Coast Highway still sticks in my mind - OK the hire car we had (A Chevy Tahoe) was not as good as the Beemer, (or my car back here in the UK at the time) but you can't have everything.

59 grand for a non M 3-series is too much. Nice care though. I just think there is now a gap in between the 1 and the 3 Series. I know why I'd move to Cali but why'd you guys go? The women, weather? Two good reasons by the way.

I just did the Kangamangus Highway in early spring. No other cars and everything you just described in a perfect road. If the wife weren't with me I would have timed it for fun. You should really do a drive on that, though during the summer there are way to many cars. Great review by the way.
