Yes. That was a real Audi R8 and we did bring it onto a frozen lake. Trust me though, that was probably the safest environment for that car besides maybe the Bonneville Salt Flats. With 36-inches of ice and nothing to hit for a mile in most directions, it was a car guy's dream. Though, the negative 20 degree weather did take a toll on all of us. The crew really did a fantastic job. Tom Morningstar, our all-star shooter and editor pulled all his tricks out of the bag while Tom Albrecht was there to make sure none of us did anything foolish. A great experience that seems to have made a great story for all of you to watch.

So what's next? Well this Friday, as some of you Audi fanatics may already know, Truth in 24 will air on ESPN. Well, guess what - we've already seen the movie. An amazing movie to say the least. This Thursday expect to see a special Garage419 episode shot from inside NFL Films. Thats right, we got some great footage you will not want to miss include scenes from the film that you didn't see in the trailer.
