The Future of the USGP

    POSTED BY , 16 July 2007

It was announced last week that the U.S. Formula One Grand Prix will no longer be held at the Brickyard; Indianapolis Motor Speedway. After the 2006 season failure at the USGP, with only four cars part-taking in the event due to tire problems and a break-down in negotiations, there was much to prove in this year's race at the famed circuit. The 2007 F1 race at Indy this year not only had to go down smoothly, but it had to prove it's worth to the FIA. It seems that the challenge was not met, and the United States will be without a Formula One race for the 2008 Season being that it is too late to plan such an event at a new track. So here is the question I pose: For 2009, where should the U.S. Grand Prix take place? What track? What city? Post your comments!

I would love to see it at Road Atlanta. What a nice track and is close to Atlanta which is a plus.
