Switzerland; always loved for great chocolate, great views, and a mass transportation system that works, has finally decided to lift a 50 year old ban on motor-sports. After the horrific 1955 accident at Le Mans which killed 80 spectators, the country opted to ban all forms of the sport. Last week, the small nation's parliament opted to lift the ban in the hopes that it would increase tourism to the country. Even though I doubt the Swiss need help with tourism, this brings us one step closer to having a WRC weekend in the Alps. Maybe Michael Schumacher will leave his insanely huge house in Gland to stand in the woods and watch as Sebastien Loeb shows him how to drive.
